Wisdom

A year ago, Daryl posted this entry on his blog about Derek having all of his wisdom teeth pulled. I commented that I had one final wisdom tooth that had emerged and probably needed to come out. Well, my dentist decided now was the time. I had it pulled on Thursday, but unlike my last three (and Derek’s four), I decided to go with the general anesthesia. I woke up in a different room, but my clothes were all intact (read Daryl’s entry for explanation of that). Other than some minor residual pain and swelling, I’m on the mend.

Sorry to hear you had to go through that. Very glad all of your clothing was intact! Take care of yourself! Let us know if you need anything!

I hope that you don’t have a “dry socket” with the other 31 teeth; they are almost as miserable as the original extraction. I’m sure that you will sleep better tonight.

    Donna,
Sorry to hear about the wisdom tooth thing! I remember that surgery well…VERY pleasant indeed! Hope you are feeling better now that it’s a week later.

Did you know my baby girl turned 16 yesterday? Remember when you entertained her one afternoon in nothing but a towel? LOL! The kids have been at church camp all week and she rededicated her life to Christ yesterday as well! God is so good!

    Take care and rest well!

Lisa, let’s clarify that Kaiti (at age 4) was in the towel, and I was fully clothed! 🙂

What a blessing your children are! So glad they have chosen to live godly lives.

LOL! Well, I guess clarification was necessary for some! But as I recall she was actually not even a year old! I think Robin got locked out of the house when she was sitting she and Tyler. I remember being VERY worried because she was naked as a jay bird under that towel with no diaper, and I was so thankful we were able to get home quickly before there were any mishaps! Maybe Robin can enlighten us as to what really happened! My brain has turned to mush the past few years! SCARY!

You’re right! She was just a diaperless baby. My bad for calling her a 4 year old. (Sorry, Kaiti!)
