Robin found this recipe, but I don’t know where. It lasts for several months in the refrigerator.
12 oz frozen cranberry juice cocktail, thawed
1 C water
1 C brown sugar
cinnamon stick, broken
¼ t allspice
6 oz dried tart cherries
12 oz fresh cranberries
Bring first 5 ingredients to boil and stir until sugar dissolves. Add cherries and cook 2 minutes. Add cranberries, and cook till they pop. Remove cinnamon stick. Pour into sterilized canning jars. Store in the refrigerator.
