It is so wonderful to come home from work and not have dozens of political messages clogging up my voice mail. No political postcards filling up my mail box. No nasty political commercials stinking up my TV. As soon as all the candidates get their signs taken down from the street corners, the landscape will look a whole lot better, too.

Living in CA you don’t get many ads for the presidential race.
We got a lot of local and state ads. We had some pretty controversial propositions on our ballot. But we didn’t see many presidential ads here either.
Yeah, we had Prop 8 which was the No Gay Marriage prop. It passed which is a tad surprising in this state. I think one of the reasons it passed was we had voted on this in 2000 and 4 activist judges in San Francisco overturned it. I guess enough people wanted to either make it illegal or send the judges a message.

Yep, 2.6.3. I see 2.7 is in Beta release now.
Yeah, I went ahead and installed 2.7 since they are real close to a non-beta release. I like what they’ve done with the Dashboard more than the 2.5/2.6 stuff. I wasn’t real fond of that.
