I’m sad to hear it too, but in a strange way it is satisfying. It was obvious that there was something wrong somewhere, and being able to pin it on a medical condition somehow reduces the “blame” on Lute for acting erratically.
It’s another example of how our personalities and decisions are completely tied to the physical structure of our brain, but we probably don’t want to get into that again… 😉
I doubt that basketball will ever again be what it was at Arizona, but there’s hope that the reputation the school built under him will attract a top coach who can keep the program going strong.
I wanted to comment on your twitter so I will do it here. We started off slow but ended up with a good turnout. We actually thought we were going to run out of candy! We had a fun night!

We had like 5 doorbell rings on Halloween, for maybe a total of 15 kids.
The neighborhood is generally pretty busy with Trick-or-Treaters, but the cul-de-sac we live in is out of the way and hardly worth trekking to for 4 houses.
Still, that’s a record low. Maybe the neighborhood is aging too, as the young families who moved in 13 years ago are growing out of T-or-T age.
