A team to cheer for

Since the Suns are done for the year, it’s time to turn our attention to the Diamondbacks. We have come out of the basement, and are once again a team to watch. Number one in the West, we have a hot ace in Brandon Webb, and Jose Valverde has 14 saves already. We just completed a 4 game sweep against the Braves in Atlanta, the first time that’s been done by any team since 1995. Yes, while the Suns have been basking in the spotlight, the Diamondbacks have been quietly racking up wins and coming into their own. Maybe it’s time to make a run for the penant again.

  1. Don says:

When do you expect them to sign Brian Needham?

  2. Daryl says:

Yeah, but it’s hard to get excited about baseball…

  3. Donna says:

I think Brian N. should finish college first. Any time after that, I’m all for him becoming a Diamondback!

  4. Don says:

So Donna, when are you going to move to WordPress 2?

I think the Dodgers could use Brian too.

  5. Donna says:

    If it ain’t broke…

And based on Richard’s experience, I’m a little reluctant to upgrade to WP2.

I think there was a little operator error going on with Richard. 😉 I didn’t have any problems. But you aren’t very technical so maybe you shouldn’t mess with it. Just go design your chips or whatever it is you do. 😉

  7. Richard says:

There was no operator error involved. I suspect I did not have all the authorities required. Daryl had to make some changes so I could get some things to work and by that time some things had gotten pretty messed up. I was able to fix all the problems and have had no problems since then.

I think the ONLY thing Richard ran into with his upgrade was the problem using the built-in photo uploader. He wasn’t getting the little menu and it turned out to be a problem with what Daryl had originally turned on for us. I think Daryl has now either turned it on for everyone or could easily do so.

WP 2.0 makes putting pictures into your posts SO much easier. Plus you can get rid of the CAPTCHA as it has a built-in spam catcher. It’s also very easy to upgrade.
