Donna,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Hollie looks like a very sweet dog and I am sure she will be greatly missed. Hang in there Donna and take care.

Hope is the one with the tumor. Hollie was deaf, but seemed like she was going to carry on forever. She took a sudden turn downward two days ago, not eating and just laid out in the yard panting. I knew something was seriously wrong and she was in pain. I took her to the vet and had her put down.
If Hope was up to it, I’d actually say bring Apollo over. She like him. (It was Hollie who growled at him.) But Hope has so much trouble getting around with her bad leg, that it would probably be too much for her.
She stayed very close to me last night and the kitchen seemed lonely this morning when I just got out one treat. Hollie loved her treats!

I’m so sorry Donna. I know how much you loved that little doggie.
That’s sad. She had been going downhill for a long time, hadn’t she? Tumors, deaf, and what else?
Hope is going to be lonely now.
Maybe we should let Apollo spend some days over there to keep Hope company…
