We once drove to California to visit Richard and Dianna. When we arrived, Dianna had these beans in the oven and the whole house smelled amazing!
4 large cans baked or pork and beans
5-6 onions, chopped (I only use 1, because I don’t like onions that much)
1 lb bacon cut into 1” pieces
½ C brown sugar
4-5 heaping T dry mustard
¼ C molasses
small bottle of ketchup
Spread bacon in bottom of large pot (dutch oven). Add remaining ingredients. Bake 4-6 hours at 350°.
