10 Things

I got this idea from a friend’s blog (and she got it from someone else so I don’t think she’ll mind if I steal it). Every week or so, she posts a list of the week on her blog. I’m going to start posting my own list whenever I think of one.  My goal is to try to inspire myself to write on my blog more frequently.

So here’s my first list.

10 things that I did this week:

  1. Went to happy hour with girlfriends
  2. Got some praise at work
  3. Walked every day
  4. Picked up a few new clothes for my NYC trip this November
  5. Went to church
  6. Baked some chocolate chip cookies
  7. Watched 3 episodes of Battlestar Galactica (Netflix)
  8. Talked to Robin (and Steven) on the phone
  9. Watched 3 episodes of Mad Men (Netflix)
  10. Had (having) Nathan for an over-nighter

Feel free to add a comment below with your own list (but try to stick with the category).

    11. Talked with Mother on telephone.

  2. Don says:

I want some chocolate chip cookies…

  3. Daryl says:

How far along in BSG are you? Has Adamo mutated into a Klingon yet? (Oh, wait, I shouldn’t have given that away, should I…?)

  4. Donna says:

KLINGONS??? I thought they were battling Cylons! Oh no, another creature to look out for.

I’m two episodes into season 3 (which is really season 4, since there was a season 2.5). They are on New Caprica. And both Adamas still seem to be human. But of course, on BSG that doesn’t mean much.

  5. Dale says:

I’m not sure what the category is.

  6. Donna says:

Things I (or you) did this week.

  7. Dale says:

Then Donnie and Daryl are not playing right:)

  8. Donna says:

Well, you know they never could follow the rules.

Having been a fan of Battlestar Galactica since the start (the re-imagining, not the crappy ’80s version), I was quite excited when it was announced that there would be a spin off series called Caprica, which would be based on the planet and would tell the story of how the war between humans and Cylons came about. After watching the first season I was a little bit disappointed in the lack of real scifi content but I must admit I started to like the characters. I think Caprica had another season in it really and I think it has been cancelled too soon, before it got a chance to show its true potential. Of course I am getting excited all over again as there is supposed to be a new spin off in the making. Can’t wait….
